Encouraging Young People for Over 80 years at our Activity Centres

Instructor course

A long-established Christian charity we operate 4 outdoor adventure venues across the UK:
Carroty Wood - Kent
Whithaugh Park - Scottish Borders
Frontier Centre - Northants

Around 40,000 people visit us each year from schools, church youth groups and houseparties as well as Prince's Trust and training organisations. Our aim is to be investors in young people; helping young people grow spiritually, physically and in self-confidence, having a greater respect for others and working better as part of a team.

Helping You Plan & Run Your Outdoor Activities Programme

As well as the option of instructed activities at our residential adventure centres we have a fully trained staff member at each activity centre who can utilise the natural surroundings and instructed activities, to run education-based sessions, workshops, campfire/epilogue and morning assembly slots, plus offer resource materials to supplement group outdoor activity programmes. Ideal for Schools and for Youth groups.

Instructed Activities

Our outdoor pursuits are run by caring staff that have relevant governing body qualifications and are trained to encourage, and be positive role models, to bring out the best in young people.

Undertaken in a whole new environment these have real educational and developmental benefits both for the individual and the team as they participate together in a challenging adventure and a fun situation. Available at our 4 UK Outdoor Activity Centres.
